Some of you might have heard of The Pin-up Girl Store, well known for Andie’s Cutesy Bows and Polka Dotted items, for some who don’t know the shop you can check out their items here: The Pinup Girl Anyway, today (more like yesterday May 19, 2012 :P) was the official launch for The Pinup Girl Store inside Resurrection Alabama (E.Rodriguez QC). But before I go into the details I’d just like to make a little outfit post like how most of em’ bloggers do it. haha
So this was my whole outfit for today thanks to Denise of Simone’s Fashion Closet for taking pics! More photos coming up!
Really need to retouch my hair color soon! hopefully later this Sunday
Violet Batwing top | Tribal Bandage Skirt | Cyan Bow Abaca Heels - All from Jellybean SM North Annex Branch. What can i say? they’ve released a fab collection this month. :P
This bag is one of my most priced possessions. Don’t you just love it? I know it’s adorable. haha It fits more than you think it does, and it’s genuine leather with that cute drawer with key lock feature.
Because of the lack of a better-clearer photo i’d have to post this instead. I get a lot of compliments about this very eye-catching crown ring i wear when i need to be extra posh.
To be honest these shoes don’t fit me too well, the excess of my large feet are popping out of the spaces in between haha. But really… sometimes a girl just has to sacrifice for fashion right?
(Hair shouting to re-dye!!) One of the dramatic poses always has to involve an old playground with a swing.
And Down to the final photo for this blog post. This is how the gate looks like going to this interesting place, which i will blog about next! RESURRECTION ALABAMA. Here you’ll find very cool and unique furniture pieces, accessories, novelty items and whatnot where im sure you won’t find elsewhere. Watch out for my next post, will show you photos of what i loved and plan to get if i get the chance to do some interior designing again. Would be great if you can hype my look at lookbook.nu

Posted on May 20, 2012 The customizing business has been quite amusing at the same time frustrating as we try to create and recreate the designs that some of our clients want for their own satchels. There’s color combo challenges, shape cut-outs and the search for exotic materials. Then there come’s PRECISE AND HARD TO CUT SHAPES. If you look at such, you’ll think it’s simple, there are numerous ways into making the custom design you want in a bag. But the most practical and appealing output would have to be through Embroidery. Take Les Nolasco’s Customized order, here are some of the designs she chose from and the last one her final choice:
Maybe a design with swarovski type stones in front?
Pink and Gold might’ve looked classy?
The classic Sanrio Hello kitty head design
Then this very cute Hello Kitty winking back at you :P This is the design we had to work with for Les’ HoneyBadger Satchel. Size: 11 inches Material: Leatherette Color/s:Pink and Cream/White THE PROCESS:
The Hello Kitty Arc text positioned at the center back of the satchel
Hello Kitty Outline being Embroidered
Snip snip the excess paper
place into position
Masking tape should be used to avoid leaving sticky marks. Time for the embroidered letters!
It’s doooonnne!!
Before and After
Hello there! ;) Les Nolasco’s Satchel comes to life!
Customize your own!

It was my first time to attend a Blogger’s event, and the first one happened to be held by Bedazzle Accessories owned by accessories designer Catherine Limson. It was really nice to meet a lot of nice people and get to socialize again and meet potential new close friends. The PINWHEEL EVENT started at around 3PM at Cerealicious University Mall. I was supposed to go with Andie and Denise but ended up being late due to traffic. Anyway, back to the details there were some exciting activities in store for us! See photos!
For station 2! we get to choose charms and a braided string color! I picked Navy Blue and the charms above! look how messy my paper was, it’s so hard to choose! picky me…
Here are my new found friends with our completed creations too far to see though. Left to Right - there’s Cath owner of Bedazzle Accessories, Regine of theFashionVoyager , ME, Andie of the Pin-up Girl Store, Denise of simonesfashioncloset
We all proceeded to the Bedazzle Retail shop and made our own little purchases. Lovely Accessories!
Knitted Top from The Ramp Crossing Dept.. Skirt thrifted find, Earrings-Forever21, Bracelets from Bedazzle Accessories
Fat Girl… haha
The colors are too yummy! Salmon, blue, teal, neon pink!
Really had a great time, thanks to Cath for preparing such a lovely event and itinerary! Never a dull moment! Once again check out their accessories here: Bedazzle Accessories
